CoinTiger has hosted the 4th AMA session together with RAKUN, the blockchain gaming platform, the project that aims to create a seamless and borderless entertainment ecosystem.

Q1: What is Rakun’s vision?
Rakun: RAKUN’s vision is to create a new ecosystem with blockchain technology and game.
We aim to create an innovative communication platform where NFT contents, NFT exchange, asset management system (among different games) are all enabled and active communication between users-contents and between users can happen. We bring the world forward more fun with our platform.Q2: What is the history of Rakun?
Rakun: We have always sought new business possibilities; and that is why we touched blockchain technology for the first place and our project began in 2017.
However, due to strict Japanese regulations, we needed to put stop on our project on the way in the past.
Despite such obstacles, we became more creative with our contents and reinvented our contents more regulation-fit. This how Crypt-Oink, a very first blockchain game in Japan, was born in June, 2018.
Since then, Crypt-Oink has evolved and grown bigger and better. Now, you can use RAKU tokens in the game. Japanese regulations have remained very much strict; but, it did not stop our innovative ideas and vision to be realized.
We have participated numerous conferences and events worldwide to promote our project and our vision. In November, 2019, we released oinkbook, that is an official product of RAKUN and RAKU was listed on CoinTiger in 2020.
Q3: How big is Rakun in terms of users? What are some site statistics you can share?
Rakun: RAKUN has about 28K followers; and Crypt-Oink, a related blockchain game product, has about more than 20K users in the world.
Q4: What are the products powered by Rakun?
Rakun: We have oinkbook, social media, where you can receive RAKU points by writing blogs and liking posted blogs.
In the very near future, those points become exchangeable with RAKU tokens! So, please look forward to our more-to-come developments! With RAKU tokens/points, you can use them by buying items etc in Crypt-Oink Racing Friends. RAKU is very compatible with blockchain games and games in general; and we are looking forward to adding more to this function.
We developed Crypt-Oink Racing Friends. In this game, you will breed and grow a cute pig and race them with others. This Crypt-Oink game has collaborated with famous characters, projects and celebrities in Japan and also outside of Japan. For instance, we collaborated with Cryptokitties and Axie Infinity.
We are not just limited to Crypt-Oink. We have been always actively developing new game titles. Most of them are mobile app games but those have a feature that enables users to import NFT and play with them as their own characters. One of them is called BombSTARS, a battle royal game.
Q5: What are the future plans of Rakun?
Rakun: We are determined to enrich and expand RAKUN ecosystem by creating more games on RAKUN and with RAKUN vision.
In fact, we already created oinkbook and Crypt-Oink Racing Friends, where you can use our tokens. With those released products, we will keep monitoring and actively receiving users’ feedback to better the products and design our future products.
Based on our two year experience of running Crypt-Oink Racing Friends, we are very much aware of the fact that people, who are not familiar with crypto currencies/blockchain technologies, have hard time truly understanding the technology.
Thus, we aim to create games that even those people can enjoy without even knowing/understanding the complex part of the technology.
We will keep promoting the greater potential of blockchain technology by bringing such games, for instance BombSTARS, so that people can feel more closer to the technology.
Session 2: Open Questions by the Community
Q1. How can we farm money via crypt-oink?
Rakun: In Crypt-Oink, you can sell your pigs and even marry them! When you do these, you can get ETH. If your pig is a great racing pig or a rare kind, you can sell them at higher price.
Q2: What plans are in place for global expansion, are you focusing on only one market at this time? Or focus on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships?
Rakun: Crypt-Oink is available both in English, Japanese and some part in Chinese.
We also released a mobile app game, BombSTARS, that you can import NFT.
We plan to release more of those games in the future and we will release them not just for Japanese market; we are looking at global.
This is why we are in communication with blockchain game developing companies in the works to expand our NFT import network.
Some of those communications already reached a deal. Thus, you can use blockchain NFT on BombSTARS.
Q3: What roles or usage does RAKU token plays in the ecosystem?
Rakun: You can use RAKU tokens within RAKUN ecosystem. Right now, you can receive/send reward and buy items for a game with RAKU tokens. In the near future, we plan to expand and enrich the contents so that you can gain tokens through numerous activities on our platform and use tokens to buy contents. Currently, we have oinkbook, where you can write/evaluate blogs. By doing so, you can gain RAKU points (will be exchanged to RAKU tokens in the future.) Also, you can use them in our blockchain game, Crypt-Oink Racing Friends.
Q4: Why did Rakun chose the gaming industry?
Rakun: We are an entertainment company, mainly developing game apps. With this core business in nature, it was sort of natural thing for us to design RAKUN with gaming. We wanted to solve boundaries/obstacles/limitations that our traditional games have with blockchain technology.
Q5: What problem does Rakun’s blockchain system solve in this industry?
Rakun:RAKUN reward system is a new system that support both users and contents. With traditional ecosystem, users can either pay money and/or watch unwanted ads to enjoy the contents. That means users, who contributed for the community active level by promoting a content by recommending it to their friends or so on, are not recognized nor appreciated. We believe this needs to change. That is why we create this system where users can receive rewards for their actions and the quality of their actions accordingly.
With our system, we believe that we can increase loyal active users. This means the given rewards, RAKU, will gain more opportunities for use and gain its value. This is a good cycle: good contents receive rewards, more good contents arrive, more active users participate, and more users use our tokens and vice versa. We will expand this reward system to other products, not just limited to our products. By doing so, we will expand our ecosystem and create win-win relationship with content providers and users.
