Services incorporating blockchains and tokens are growing in number and will soon proliferate. To celebrate the first anniversary of the CoinView app’s release, CoinJinja Co., Ltd. held a gathering of thought leaders to discussing new lifestyles and services in the coming token economy.

This event provided an opportunity to those with a vision for the future to discuss what is coming, discover new projects, and network with fellow thought leaders. Attendees included cryptocurrency influencers, bloggers, investors, analysts, journalists, developers, and startup founders.

Many regions in Japan are struggling as young people migrate to large cities and the remaining population ages. In this session, a panel of thought leaders discussed ways in which cryptocurrencies and related technologies may present opportunities for revitalizing Japan’s regional economies.

Blockchain technology is opening up a broad range of business opportunities in almost every industry. Some experts liken the situation to the internet twenty years ago. Our expert panel discussed how Japanese companies are placed to take advantage of these new developments and can they be competitive in a global landscape?

Session 3: What Kinds of Communities will be Created by Japanese Token Projects?

Blockchain technology is set to cause as much disruption as the internet and smartphone revolutions have. Our expert panel discussed the ways in which this may affect Japanese society and the kinds of interactions and social phenomena which could be encouraged by token projects originating in Japan.
