We are happy to announce the conclusion of our alpha test! We’ve ensured to resolve the majority of issues encountered, and will continue to improve our project as we look forward to our public beta. Most importantly, we are making sure that those who helped us in the process receive their promised rewards. We have selected 50 users who have assisted in our testing process to a significant degree, and will be distributing 50 CLS tokens in rewards to each.
Test Results
Our alpha test was largely successful, with our users stress testing our product extensively. We improved upload and download speed, functionality and reliability, and were able to address a few minor technical issues.
Overall, users were able to utilize our platform through a number of different clients, based on the Amazon S3 protocol:

We are in the process of adding new client protocols, with the intention of supporting all of them. We aim to be entirely compatible with any S3 protocol so anybody can switch to us without spending significant time and effort.
In addition to new client protocols, we also plan to expand how to most efficiently store different types of data we can. We only offered the “frequent access” storage class for our alpha test, and plan to add more for our beta.
Why it matters
Our alpha testers will play a critical role in ensuring that our project is as sustainable and secure as possible.
Now that our alpha test is complete, we can begin moving to our more inclusive beta test. This will also feature the UX/UI upgrades which we have given previews of. We also plan to announce additional incentive programs, and would like to remind the community that even those who do not directly participate in alpha testing are still eligible, should they assist in bringing interested parties to the platform.
