ColdStack Monthly Report: November 2021
Dear community members, we are happy to present our November news summary. Our CLS token finally has a BSC pair deployed alongside a network bridge, which has seen a great deal of utilization. ColdStack began implementing developments needed to move into our public beta test, which means our product launch is coming even closer to realization.
Binance Smart Chain
Our community has been asking for CLS to be offered through the BSC network for some time now, and we are very happy to see how much our BSC deployment is being used. Over the course of the month, we have added over 300 new wallet holders just on the BSC network. Our BSC bridge has performed over 100 cross-chain exchanges, and we have bridged over 100k CLS tokens.
UX/UI concept of our bridge is based on prvious version of Binance cross-chain Bridge, because we love it really much :) Same as a Binance Bridge, ColdStack Bridge also charges zero conversion fees. You’ll only need to pay network transaction fees on the blockchains that you are converting between. For now, ColdStack Bridge only supports MetaMask, but new wallets will be added pretty soon. You also can send to the Bridge wallet directly, without connecting your wallet on the Bridge page.
With the success of our BSC deployment and bridge, we will likely be adding additional liquidity to Pancakeswap in order to facilitate a better trading experience. Additionally we will look into offering CLS on other networks such as Matic/Polygon in the future, in order to grow our ecosystem even further.
We also added the feature, which will allow users to deposit CLS tokens to their account not just from Ethereum, but also immediately from Binance Smart Chain. Withdraw option (from user account to BSC tokens) is also available for our users.
Public Beta
With the success of the implementation of new backend work in preparation of our new UI, we are taking the first steps needed to move into our Public Beta test. Actually, we have implemented all the functionality of Public Beta in November — but still running stress tests, because we need to take care about overall performance and sustainability.
Public Beta will be a comprehensive test which will include all the core functionality of our full product, excluding Storage Classes (only Standard Storage Class will be available for now). This means that users will be able to access and test all the core functionality of the System. All the uploading, storing and downloading features will be available and the billing procedures will be the same as for commercial release.
