I wrote and produced a play satirizing the messed up/depressing documentary ‘Blackfish’. It’s a song-filled romp about whale abuse at SeaWorld. I headed the ad campaign that helped us sell out our entire eight show run.

I designed posters and promos to hype up the show around town.

I wrote/shot and chopped a bunch of commercials in the style of SeaWorld promo videos.

I wrote the playbill. Here’s my favorite bit —

Somehow, even animal rights people liked our show. PETA bought out a section of the theater for every performance. Plus- one of the trainers interviewed in the film flew out to see it and do a Q&A.

We even inspired a youtube celeb to write a long, belligerent rant about us! (this was my favorite part of the whole experience)
