Skipping / postponing making a decision is a norm for most of us . We do it because making a decision needs an analysis and an action. But most of us don’t realise that not making a decision is also a decision — but a bad decision. How many actions form around 60 % of our daily routine ? Just 40 !

Tough to believe, right ? But, this is true.

Upon doing an introspection, we would realise that this is correct. Now, is there a way, we can take these actions without any delay. The solution for it is to convert these actions into HABIT ? If we do it, we would be able to avoid our involvement towards decision-making for these actions. Every HABIT that we form, gets into ACTION, with little involvement of decision-making owing to the freedom that we offer to ourselves. This is the reason, why we always get to hear from our elders that we should cultivate GOOD HABITS !

We brush our teeth every morning, as a HABIT for which we seldom make any decision . It just happens as an unconscious routine as it is a part of our HABIT.. Every such HABIT that we can succeed in forming and incorporating, will allow us to ‘skip the decision-making’, thereby ensuring that the action happens on time without fail. The time that we freeup from these decisions gives us the additional time, for us to improve our efficiency. As we continue this cycle, we would realise that we are able to free up a lot of time and in the time so freed up we are able to accomplish larger goals with ease. Ultimately, this makes us happy.

One more thing that we need to do after forming such HABITS, is to remember , publish and celebrate our success and joy, so that people associated with us also understand the postivie power of habit formation. This will nudge them to adopt the same technique as a part of their routine. When more and more people around us adopt it, there will be more productivity and positivity all around us. Every success makes people and the surrounding happy and makes us understand that Life indeed is a celebration
