Don’t miss XCDS at the 2020 European Le Mans Series!

Hi supporters! Do you recall that we will appear at the 2020 NTT INDYCAR SERIES on the 4th of July, supporting the British motorsport team Carlin on their №59 Carlin Chevrolet?
This is not the only motorsport event that we will be present at!

Continuing on the topic of motorsport, which has been thrilling our team for a while now, we are pleased to announce that XCDS has renewed its partnership with the British United Autosports team for the upcoming European Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours race.

Need a Bit of History?

Le Mans 24 Hours is the world’s oldest sports car endurance racing, which has been a highlight of automobile fans since 1923. The race takes place near the self-titled town of Le Mans in France.

The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a European sports car racing endurance series inspired by the Le Mans 24 Hours race and run by the Automobile Club l’Ouest (ACO). The format is based similar to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) based in the USA and Canada which ran between 1999 and 2013. The winners and runners-up of the ELMS series receive an automatic entry to the following years Le Mans 24 Hours race.

XCDS Cooperation with United Autosports

In 2019, our software company teamed up with United Autosports, where the team entered two cars. The results were fantastic, with the team finishing 14th (out of 60 qualified cars).
We believe this year that the team will build on last year’s result and improve their finishing position. XCDS are therefore pleased to announce that we have renewed the official partnership for the 2020 season with branding on the two Oreca 07s for Le Mans and the driver’s race suits for the ELMS Series.

  • The 2020 ELMS will take place at The Paul Ricard Circuit in July after delays of the season due to the pandemic.
  • The 88th Le Mans 24 Hours takes place during the weekend of 19th-20th September 2020.

However, the dates may be subject to change depending on the situation with the pandemic.

Zak Brown and Richard Dean, United Autosports team owners, welcomed XCDS for the upcoming season and expressed hope for further cooperation, as well as the scheduled start of races.

Andy Webb, CEO of XCDS, expressed that he was very delighted with such progressive cooperation. He treats this sponsorship as an opportunity to both support live sports we all love and to introduce our tech company to the wider international audience.

So, the entire team of XCDS, with its headquarters in London and R&D department in Prague looks forward to being on the grid with the team at Le Mans and for the upcoming ELMS series.
