This is the new Normal, and I’m still Tired

Covid has been in full swing in America since March. Protests started across the world in May. America’s leadership is progressively more insane by the minute, with literal unmarked state militants taking people off the streets. And that’s just what’s happening in my minute area of the world, there are plenty of wars, famine, literal swarms of locusts, natural disasters… the world has gone to shit.

And this is just… how things are now. This is the reality we have to deal with every day.

We’ve been telling ourselves for months now that this is the new normal and we just have to get used to it. And to some extent we’ve told that notion to piss off. I mean, we have riots all over the place specifically because we don’t want it to be the new normal. And that’s had… well, that’s been an uphill battle. To put it lightly.

So for now, this is normal. And it’s been normal for months.

And I’m fucking exhausted. Hell, we’re all exhausted, and we have been for months. But a lot of you are out there fighting the good fight, and that gives me hope that things will get better.
