Aim for sunshine

A soccer ball came bouncing towards me. I froze for a second and could hear the hustle and bustle.

“Catch it” screamed a guy.

I took one step and went for it. I could feel the ball hitting my foot and immediately leave in the direction of the sun.

The little boy who had dropped it looked surprised. He could see his ball fly much higher than he had ever been able to kick it.

Gravity eventually took matter and forced it back to earth where it took a crash landing on a sidewalk cafe table full of bottomless mimosas.
