You have looked at the vision and the product that is offered by Vedantu. In your study group, try and identify the relevant target group(s) to which Vedantu could cater its solution. Here you should try to identify their specific characteristics that make them attractive for targeting in Vedantu’s context — describe demographic, geographic and psychographic/ behavioral parameters. Identifying the target groups is the first bottleneck in marketing and branding because the success of the subsequent steps in the marketing strategy heavily depends on the right choice of the target segment(s).

Solution:
Here, we are defining all the relevant target segments that Vedantu could focus on from all the aspect of business as a whole. Three main target segments with decreasing priorities would be:
Parents: Parents will be decision makers for their studying kids.
Student: Students will be the consumer of their platform.
Teachers: Teachers will be required on their platform for engagement.
