These projects are ideas from people across the country, submitted to this crowdsourced site. If you’re able to help, let us know. If work on these is already happening, let us know so that we can be more efficient. If you have a project you’d like added to the list, get in touch.
Counter-propaganda:
- It may be a good tactic to research what PR Nazis, white supremacists, and domestic terrorists are using and use those tactics for our messages about allyship, etc. ( — Rose)
Media lobby & representation:
- Compile a list of groups that lobby media groups (probably mostly in Hollywood and New York)
- If needed, construct an action plan with deadlines for goals
- Get lobbying
Police stations & implicit bias trainings:
- “A spreadsheet of every police station in the country, as we can have multiple people calling down the list or taking on their own jurisdictions, and start finding out which places have had anti-bias training. Spreadsheet should have the name, address, phone number, contact(s), also a list of resources that you could send to the police for anti-bias training (such as local organizations that teach that) — and most importantly, DATES, make sure we’re calling at least once a week and keeping note of it.” ( — Tiffany R)

- “I bet local black lives matter and ACLU chapters have targeted areas and projects in the works that you can get on-board. Might be easier than re-inventing the wheel. There are people who have been embedded in this kind of work for years, and they probably need more support. Maybe an excel of organizations that need more support on their projects would be a good idea? Also, these training issues end up being for of a budget issue to law makers than anything else.” ( — Andrea D.)
