We’re welcoming our first ever Community Hosts, a set of six amazing leaders helping to support our community and make it even more incredible.

Today, meet Tia and Zara, two of our lovely Community Hosts at The Collective Old Oak! They got to know each other by asking each other some questions and taking photos together.

Tia and Zara

ZARA

Zara’s spirit animal? A panda!

What does happiness mean to you?

“Feeling peaceful, being okay with yourself in your own company, feeling open and being happy to share ideas, things and anything else with others. Feeling free.”

What’s your spirit animal?

“I would say a panda bear — I like how they’re black and white, so like two extremes, but they’re also quite sensitive creature as well.”

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

“Eradicating loneliness. I would see other people and my superpower would let me know what they needed.”

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? “Daydream.”

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have good chances at winning a medal for?

“Being clumsy.”

TIA

Tia would earn an Olympic medal in being lazy at heart, but getting shit done.

What does happiness mean to you?

“Being okay with what you’ve got and being at peace with yourself and your surroundings. Feeling light and having freedom.”

What’s your spirit animal?

“A penguin. They have to endure a lot in tough conditions but then they are focussed and get shit done. They’re just cool! Or a dolphin because they are playful and free in the vast sea, just enjoying life and jumping around.”

If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?

“Teleporting — being somewhere else in the blink of an eye.”

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

“Travel and study.”

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have good chances at winning a medal for?
Being lazy at heart but getting shit done.”
