This photo was taken at the Bryce Canyon National Park. It makes me think of many scriptures in the Bible.

Luke 24: 1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. (2)And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. (3) And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

Luke 118:22,23 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Matt. 16:18 And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it.

All of these Bible verses makes me know that Jesus has it all, and Satan has nothing. Jesus is always the winner. He never fails. Satan is always the looser. Now, Satan can be the winner of your soul if you let him. It’s up to you. Satan is our tempter.

Matt. 4: 1-4 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. (2)And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. (3) And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. (4 )But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Satan tried to tempt Jesus too, but Jesus never gave in. We should do as Jesus did.
Matt. 4:10,11 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. (11)Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Our purpose in life is to build our lives on Jesus Christ because he is the rock. He is our solid foundation.

Matt. 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth these saying of mine, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock; (25) And the rain descended, and the flood came, and the wind blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Build your hopes on a sure thing. When we deal with man, nothing is sure. Our homes and land can get taken away from us. Man is wrapped up in greed, but in Christ Jesus, we have everything. He will give us and will not take from us. What he has to offer us will last forever.
