Color Wheel — Red

Sometimes strange things happen that we cannot explain. I remember waking up one morning in my bedroom. I always had to ask my mother for permission to get up early in the morning time. My mother slept in the back room behind my room with my father. I was a little girl about 3 or 4 years old. The sun was up, and I just laid in bed waiting for my mother to get up. Suddenly, I saw a red headed little boy pop up at the foot of my bed out of nowhere. He tried to talk to me, but I didn’t understand a word that he was saying. The little boy stayed at the foot of my bed looking as if he wanted to play. I thought he was one of the little boys from the Mikey Likes Life Cereal Commercial from the 1970's. The little boy did not scare me for some reason, but normally I would have been scared to death. The looks of him was innocent, and he was a child too. I suppose that’s why I wasn’t afraid. The Little boy kept trying to talk to me, and I kept saying, “Huh? What?” Then finally he ducked down behind the foot of my bed, and I never saw him again.

Later, I heard my mother turn over in bed. I said, “Ma! I saw a little boy in my room, but he disappeared!”

My mother said, “It was just your imagination or you were dreaming. Go back to sleep.”

I’ll never forget that morning when I saw that red headed little boy. I was left wondering if he would come back or if I would ever see him again. I mentioned him to my mother after I had finished high school because I had seen a guardian angel in my adult years. My mother told me that it could have been a little cherubim that I saw roaming around. My mother was sick and dying, and she believed me more then than she did when I was a little girl. Now I’m left wondering was the little red head boy a cherubim.
