There are many of us wishing that we could be a bird in flight wanting freedom. Some of us want freedom to go out into the world without fear. Some of us worry and rush home before it gets dark because the darkness brings more crime. With all of the street violence, killing, and robbing, we want to be winged and free.

In so many ways, people want to be free. People have things to say. We need our freedom of speech and to stand up for what we believe is right. Sometimes we need to march with signs to be heard when we have to fight. There are a lot of parrots out in the world that mimic and mock what is good. There are a lot of chickens out there running anxious and scared while the roosters give false alarms with early morning calls.

We as people were made to be free, but we are sometimes bound in fear. We see terror attacks and so many dangerous happenings in our world. There is a lot of cover up and lies and hardly anyone to trust. That’s why we must pick up the good book because in it there is life.

St. John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

1 Peter 2:16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
