God, When I am sad and discouraged

Please help me remember to put my hope in You.

Please remind me to praise You again and again. You are my Savior and God. Nothing can take Your place.

Please create a longing in me for You, O God. I want to want You more than anything else this life can offer me. Please help me to always focus on You and balance this life with my longing for You.

God, when I feel like You’ve forgotten me, please help me remember that I am Yours and I will never be forgotten by You. You love me and I can trust You to always have Your best interest at the heart of everything that happens in my life. Please keep discouragement from me. Please help me remember discouragement is not from You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
