James Storr Brown and Saya Fukuda say they had a large wedding. About 40 people attended — and 40 is a lot for one Zoom call. On the morning of April 18, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order permitting virtual weddings. After hearing the news, Saya and James moved the furniture in their New York City apartment, searched for flowers, threw together outfits, and sent many texts and emails to their loved ones. Saya and James had their marriage ceremony just four hours after Cuomo issued his order.
