Columbus Kindness Month: Uplift with Kindness
Columbus — You’re absolutely crushing Columbus Kindness Month! Hope you’re having as much fun as we are spreading the love.
Last week, we focused on connecting with kindness and you proved what it means to be a community that values each other and what we can be together.
To kick off the week, Besa volunteers wrote kind messages on 1,000 coffee cup sleeves and gifted them to Roosevelt Coffeehouse. So when you need a little kick of caffeine and kindness, stop by Roosevelt and pick out a message for yourself. It may even inspire you to do your own act of kindness.
Good Day Columbus got in on the fun and featured Columbus Kindness Month on last Thursday’s broadcast. Alissa Henry happily joined the Kindness Squad by surprising a customer with a free cup of joe.
It’s hard staying focused with all of the exciting photos you’ve been posting with #givekindnesscolumbus. Here are a few of our favorites!
This week, we’re celebrating ways that kindness uplifts us and our community. Use #givekindnesscolumbus to share how you see kindness in action.
With Valentine’s Day on the way, our #KindHeart made its debut at the Snow Day festival this past Saturday. Look for the heart so you can add your own messages of kindness as it travels around town and over to the Columbus Museum of Art for display.
