Markdown support for text formatting. Also, links finally work!

You’ve asked for it and we delivered! Markdown is now fully supported in comments on Columns. Whether you want to attach a link, insert a “quote” or emphasize your point — we got you covered.

This update also fixes an issue where links were displayed as plain text previously. Now when you add a link to your comment it’s recognized correctly and is clickable right away.

Markdown is a simple to use markup language that enables you to easily add rich formatting to your text just by adding a few extra symbols here and there.

If you’re unfamiliar with Markdown syntax we’ve made a neat cheat sheet to get you started. You can bring it up anytime you are writing a comment by clicking the question mark icon at the end of the comment field.
