Facebook Page Analysis

I created a twitter account at the beginning of the semester and I don’t have much tweets or followers, so I decided to build an analysis on my mother’s Facebook page. I created this page for her since she started her new baking business. There are 501 likes on the page, and its been active for almost a year now. When I first created the page, I invited friends over Facebook to visit it in order to get more likes. I uploaded a lot of cake pictures the first week, to let people see what this page is all about and to make them want to talk about it with their friends and so get more and more likes. It was surprising the number of likes that was going higher. Even without the likes on the page I could the see the number of users that looked at the pictures I uploaded, the numbers were shocking. The pictures that were uploaded on Facebook were not the same, I chose a different variety of them. I didn’t post the same cake twice, I showed the different options available from cakes to cookies to granola bars to truffles. This way people will be interested and would want to know more about the specialties accessible. Since there is a lot of competition in that particular field I had to show the pubic that those goodies were different then others available at the market, and that’s the way I created a slogan for the business that is all natural home of baking, in which I added that all the goodies are made of oil, its fat free and low in calories. Its also custom made for some people that were allergic for certain products or don’t like specific items in their cakes or cookies. The most popular posts on the page were: on my sister’s birthday, on the open house that was organized for the children cancer center and the gathering that was held for Christmas. The pictures that were posted on these occasions reached thousands of views, and the numbers were going higher. A lot of people attended those events and picture were shared and viewed on Facebook, the same pictures that were viewed were shared. The rating on the page is excellent around a 5 over 5, with excellent reviews and comments.

The audience that are interested in this page are mostly women between the ages of 28 and 54, mostly living in the middle east, there are a lot of followers from Saudi Arabia and Egypt, but most of them are Lebanese. Most of the followers are interested in the new original baking ideas and cake designs on the page, for birthdays, gatherings or special occasions. The page is influenced by a lot of competitors that are in the same business filed, they try to stay updated with the new posts on the page. There are also a lot of bloggers that share new pictures on their page and that really helps in increasing the followers and the number of users looking at the page. Bloggers that have around 150 thousand followers shared 4 pictures available on the page. Even once a considered competitor to my mother’s business shared a picture on her account to encourage the new business.

Social capital is fundamentally the systems and connections framed between individuals who live and interact together. For all intents and purposes, Social Capital is shaped between individuals who offer comparable hobbies and thoughts. This is the reason every client takes after and is trailed by individuals who in a way think alike, regardless of the fact that there are no current bonds in the middle of them, and they are spread separated immeasurable geological regions. Facebook permits this kind of cooperation to happen, which is the reason any take after a like, share or review is a piece of every client’s social capital. Facebook present to its users a chance to expose their marketing to the world. Its an easy and very efficient way to expose a new business, where local and regional users can be posted.
