Jude Hajjiri’s twitter account which has been active since 2010 as accumulated 141 followers and 175 likes. Top interest on twitter is comedy (Movies and television). Her audience developed over time, there were no major spikes in followers but just a steady growth over the years. Her most popular post came on November 9th 2015 when she was working on her final film for her major. That post generated 98 impressions and an engagement rate of 8.2%.

Over the last 91 days she has received an engagement rate of 1.0%. Jude’s comedy and music posts share about 77% of her tweets while world politics and current events only consume about 45% of her tweets. 56% of her followers are male while only 44% are female. However, only 29% of her followers who actively check her feed are male while 71% are female. 99% of her followers are English speakers while the last 1% is divided between Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Turkish. Although since 2010 Jude has lived between London, Jordan, and Lebanon, 77% of her audience is from the USA and 20% of them are from California. Knowing Jude personally allows me to vouch for her love and dedication to Apple’s IPhone and 84% of her audiences are IPhone users. About 43% of her followers from the USA are connected with AT&T mobile network. Those who follow her have similar interests in that they also enjoy music and comedy to the same extent as Jude. Jude’s followers do not have huge twitter follower numbers either. She isn’t followed by anyone that can be considered influential on social media. She does follow a few celebrities, but they don’t follow back. But what that can do for her is that when she re-tweets or favorites on of their tweets she puts herself in the view point of everyone else looking at those tweets.

By being able to have this information we can understand what attracts people’s interest and monitor how they behave when presented with topics they enjoy or don’t enjoy. When you find someone following multiple musicians you can assume that person has a love for music. Jude for example follows Kevin Hart, considering that 78% of her tweets fall under the category of comedy. It’s easy to see why she would follow a world renowned comedian. Same goes for people who prefer politics or sports. By being able to analyze who people are following we can determine what kind of person they are. Thinking back about social capital, Jude isn’t on twitter to achieve some major life changing goal. She is on there so she can share her thoughts with people who are willing to listen. When we look at the demographics of her followers and see that 43% of her followers are AT&T users. I think it’s safe to say that by having these followers she is generating income for AT&T because as data plan prices continue to rise in the USA, the expenses only increase.
