I gave up on Facebook and thought to myself I need an environment where there is interaction that is a little more intelligent and I plumped for Fine Art America. Not that Facebook is filled with unintelligent people, it’s just that there seems to be a reluctance to tap the keyboard more that half a dozen times.

I then started a group titled “The African Theme Artwork Group” and started to ask members of the group if they would allow me to feature their work in my Blogs. The take up was very favourable but as they say Content, Content, Content and if anyone chooses a similar path then they need to have a good looking Blog up and running before any request are made.

I have now showcased the artwork of over 400 artists, some of them internationally known. There is also work from different Art Galleries and art from comic books such as Bluewater Comics.

Below the header of the Blogs it says, All Artists Showcased In This Blog Have Given Written Permission For Their Work To Be Included.

I spend hour after hour trying to locate artist on the Internet and it is a bit of a downer to locate a web page of an artist that you want to include only to find there are no contact details.

Though it has taken me to the end of the runway and back a few times it has yet to get off the ground, like a stuffed Turkey waiting for Thanksgiving.

It’s a pass time, some people like jigsaws, I would rather watch paint dry. We all have different likes and dislikes and thank the Lord for that. Otherwise we would all be Bay City Roller fans*.
