Father of four claims he’s always been a big fan of Christina Aguilero
“I’ve hip-hopped to her stuff for years.”

At approximately 6:45 pm last night, a hot debate ensued in the dining room of the average-sized Hendrix residence in Atlanta, GA. Reports tell us that the event began when 16-year-old Dana Hendrix referenced a statement made by Christina Aguilera on her popular television show, NBC’s The Voice. Dana then retracted the statement, saying “But you don’t know who that is, Dad.”
In a huff, the family’s patriarch John Hendrix retorted, “Jokes on you, ’cause I’ve always been a big fan of Christina Aguilero.” Pulling an iPhone from its home in a leather holster at his jog-sculpted waist, Hendrix then attempted to pull up his favorite song — “the one from Mulan” — but was unable to access YouTube.
“YouTube doesn’t work on phones, but anyway,” John concluded, “your mom and I’ve hip-hopped to her stuff for years. I’m basically an Aguilero junkhead.”
Final reports of the evening revealed a stressed-looking John retreating to his study to prep for tomorrow’s dinner. The preparation process will allegedly include a full run-through of all of Aguilera’s albums and television appearances.
“It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it. The kids see me as the ‘cool dad’ and I wanna keep it that way,” John stated, when questioned about the extremity of his actions. “Plus it’s fun. I did the same thing with the complete works of The One Directions,” he added, “and it turns out those guys are great.”
At press time, Dana could be spotted in her second story bedroom not thinking about this.
