Vibe Coding Keyboard

A keyboard with a single Tab key

This past couple of weeks, I published a few more “politically-oriented” cartoons that were related to recent events. Most likely, people won’t remember (all) the events in the near future, so I also wrote a blog post about them.

The latest trend (fad?) in programming (or more accurately in technology) is “vibe coding.” It is coding without coding. Telling an AI what you want to build, and it builds it for you. Unfortunately for the vibe coders, right now the results have been mixed. The comic is a keyboard with a single Tab button, which is not necessarily vibe coding (using voice), but we won’t get too picky. I wrote an April Fool’s article based on this cartoon.

As someone correctly pointed out, vibe coders don’t necessarily use the tab key, which is more for AI autocomplete tasks… but getting technical on it, takes away from the joke.
