Well, Well, Well.. We’re back with another week of new comics, New adventures and new issues of the week that we think are pretty good for you all to check out let’s start off here:

Batman #14

Written by: Tom King

Art By: Mitch Gerads & Stephanie Hans

This week we have Batman #14 which concludes the “I AM SUICIDE” arc, which takes our exalted caped crusader and a hand picked team of inmates featuring Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman to Santa Prisca, a fortress that is home to the notorious Bane. But Bane wasn’t their only objective, Psycho Pirate was. If you’ve been reading DC’s Rebirth Batman titles and have knowledge of the previous story Arc’s (I am Gotham, and Night of the Monster Men), Batman needs the Psycho Pirate to help Gotham Girl restore her psyche after he beloved brother died in a previous battle with the Bat. But this issue isn’t about that. It’s more intimate than that. Catwoman has earned herself a life sentence at Blackgate Prison for her previous crimes. The Dark Knight & The Feline Thief have earned a night of crimefighting and lovemaking upon the rooftops of Gotham City.

What I liked most about this issue is that it really went in-depth on the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. A side of the spectrum myself that i haven’t seen before between these two that made me happy. But i do predict that Selina won’t be going to jail, because we all know Catwoman has an idea and plan to live outside of a prison cell to return to the streets of gotham as either as the notorious thief, or an important member of the bat-family once again due to the absence of Spoiler and Red Robin. The Dialogue within this issue is spot on and just masterful penmanship as it shows these two nipping baddies in the bud before the night is even over. But at the end of the issue we finally get to see these two show their true affection for each other as they make love on a rooftop showing that this maybe their last time together.

Champions #4

Written by: Mark Waid

Art By: Humberto Ramos

My, My… Our Champions have found themselves blown out of the sky by Atlantean forces. Coming back from their short visit to Lasibad, Sharzad to aid the youth of their country being terrorized by small terrorist groups. The Champions have found themselves in some trouble. Stranded in the middle of the ocean, The group of Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Viv, Nova, Ms.Marvel, and The Totally Awesome Hulk, & Cyclops have found themselves in a bit of a pickle. After brainstorming and Viv using her abilities to find land, the group ship out to not only find themselves dry land but to be ambushed by the Atlantean Navy who shot them down in the first place. But the team manage to wiggle their way out of this one with careful strategics and on the fly moves to get themselves out of danger and back home. “Go For Champions!”

Now, what really captured me this issue is how they pointed out the fact of the conflict between X-Men and the Inhumans due to the Terrigen Mist cloud circling around the world. Cyclops was asked how did he feel about using his abilities for a certain extent, and to some comic heads that have had that question of how long can Scott maintain his abilities to shoot red lasers out of his eye sockets, well.. Read this issue. We’ve also gotten a taste at the writers abilities to get this group out of sticky situations which came very appealing to me. This new young group of super heroes is actually quite what the Marvel universe needed after Civil War 2, but the future is still blurry and we don’t know what can come next. Find out in Issue #5 of Champions coming soon!

Also i’d like to honorably mention and shortly summarize a few more issues that captured my attention this Week:

Avengers #3
