Our Story

After living 2 years in Berlin, Germany, learning the language, but noticing that was never good enough to communicate, we decided to move.

The language barrier made us move to London. I’m not complaining, I love it here. But is really hard being exposed to different situations, like being in the hospital or trying to do an ‘abmeldung’, and not finding the way to communicate with the person behind the desk.

Here is where the idea of Comm2me came from. What if we create a community, where people can find a ‘friend’ available to act as a translator?

I’m a Product Designer, my husband is an FE Engineer, so we could do this. We just needed to know if people were really interested in it. We talked with friends from Berlin, Spain, people that travel around Asia, everyone sounded super excited!

After months of hard work, I’m proud to introduce to you: Comm2me.

The app is ready to download from apple and android.

We really hope you enjoy it! We made it with lots of love! :)
