Listen Smart

I am very partial to todays post. I am part of a group remaking a film, Listen Smart. One thing that we noticed while watching the video over and over, is the lack of diversity.

The film is a 15 min, documentary style, educational video. It is about how to listen to music in a way that wont damage your ears. The original was mostly for rock music fans. What we noticed was that the entire film was mostly white people. There was a decent amount of gender diversity, but not racial.

Our goal is to remake this video with more diversity. Hearing loss doesn’t just happen to rock music fans, or white males.
