Not your typical zombie apocalypse

With zombie apocalypses being the current trend in recent pop culture, you see many tv shows/movies giving the role of the protagonist to a male but on fear the walking dead you see the narrative change in a way. In the beginning of the season, we see Madison Clarke, played by Kim Dickens, kind of be reserved in actions and doesn’t have a voice for herself yet. We see Clarke start to step outside of her comfort zone towards the end of season one and really have her become a solid character in a show heavily populated by men.

Since I’ve only watched a couple episodes of season 2 I haven’t really been able to see how far Clarke has been able to progress her new persona. But in the episodes I have watched you can tell that she has become more fierce and is able to to take control of certain situations that arise and that she is a respected main character and not just any other female character.

I’m excited to finish the next two seasons and see how her character even progress more.
