Enable Alt Tag Descriptions On Twitter for Followers with Disabilities

There is an easy way to add descriptive text to the images you post on twitter. Give your followers using assistive technology like braille displays and screen readers a little insight on the photos you post.

Just go to: Twitter > Settings > Accessibility. Then check the box to “Compose Image Descriptions”.

The next time you post a photo you’ll see a new link over your photo to add a description. Just add a brief caption to the amazing photo of your dog wearing Groucho Marx glasses and you’re done.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
