Hello CMM Community

First and foremost, we would like to thank you all for your continuous support. We’ve had a bumpy 2018; nonetheless, we came out much stronger and ready for 2019 and beyond. We value our community and are looking forward to growing our support and our following with your help.

Fork

As most of you may recall, on 21st of September 2018, our Bitcoin ABC blockchain got exploited using the Bitcoin Core Bug CVE-2018–17144. In short, the malicious actor was able to print CMM out of thin air. As soon as the team got aware of the incident, exchanges were informed and all trading was halted.

In November 2018, the team decided to use the Codebase from Zcash to start a new Blockchain, with a new emission curve and Masternodes. The snapshot of the old Bitcoin ABC blockchain took place on the 4th of January (Note: the malicious coin addresses were known and got nullified with the fork).

Cryptobridge were the first exchange which reopened CMM trading. Crex24 and SafeTrade followed soon after.

CMMPay

CMMPay is a company which will leverage the Commercium Blockchain as the foundation for their business, including operations and smart contract execution via CommerciumX. Their mission is to advance the blockchain and cryptocurrency commerce adaptation by providing easy to use

payment processing and merchant tools (Web app with various statistic and onboarding mechanics) leveraged on the existing and established commerce infrastructure, while simultaneously providing value to the continued investments made by individual users, miners and institutional investors alike with the lowest fees ever seen in the Fintech industry.

We decided not to proceed with further exchange listings until CMMPay is fully established. We have however made progress in finalising an agreement with an exchange to cover the CMM to FIAT after CMMPay integration.

If you like to stay on top of the recent news containing CMMPay, please subscribe to the mailing list on their website.

Once the Forum is set up, we will celebrate tour progress with a fun event aimed to engage our CMM community. Amazing prizes can be won, look out for the announcement. (Hint: Start your Photoshop Engines)
