Get paid in CMM at your online store!

The Commercium plugin for WooCommerce and the CMM payment gateway are nearly finished. We have a couple of small stores on board who are helping us with testing. If you are an online vendor and want to start accepting CMM, please reach out to us on Discord and we can offer customer support for the first few shops willing to use this. The interface and payment gateway is easy to use and integrate.
I personally purchased Sweatshirts for everyone in Discord. They were digital, but it worked.

Shopping cart checkout page:

The shopping cart functions are simple and intuitive

Choosing a form of payment:

Checkout and payment is easy and familiar:

If you have ever used BTC checkouts, it’s remarkably similar except that a CMM Transaction is completed in 45 seconds or less.

This is still in Alpha and testing, but we would love to have anyone who owns a woocommerce webstore and is willing to help us test this jump into Discord and DM FishyGuts or Cang. We will feature your store in our weekly newsletter and our monthly roundup.

In association with this, the team has released a new paper wallet which can be found here : https://commerciumblockchain.github.io/paperwallet/

The webwallet can be found here. Be sure to write your seed phrase and store multiple copies in a safe place: https://wallet.commercium.net/

Both of these can be used to make transactions through the CMM payment gateway. There is a new Windows wallet, but if your old wallet is working you can continue to use it until the Apostille wallet is released. There are also plans to integrate with projects like Coinomi, Enjin and PaycoinQ. We will be reaching out to all of their development teams to start the process.

Apostille Final testing begins this week

There are many master node implementations on BTC forks, but CMM is a BCH fork, and there are no master node code repositories for BCH — until now. Considering that the master node code that had to be developed from the ground up, I think we’ve made good progress.

This is yet another first for CMM!

There have been many delays to the Apostille release and no one is more upset than we are. Rest assured that even though the whitepaper and website did not account for the initial delays of development, Anthony and the team are really doing their best to stick to the schedules. Releasing a quality product is of the utmost importance and so there have been delays. We also want to have a fair launch to the Apostille across all platforms. It wouldn’t be right to release on Linux weeks before Windows and OSX. This weekend Anthony is compiling and reviewing the code before public testing begins next week.
You will be glad to hear that the Apostille system is now part of the 51% resistance of CMM. Now there is another line of defense against a malicious chain being able to take over because the Apostille ecosystem being responsible for mining every other block. In order to overtake the chain, you will now have to successfully complete a 51% attack and control the masternode system. We expect to have over 200 Apostille setup at the outset, and as many as 400 within the first few weeks.

Commercium needs YOU!

“Ask not what your coin can do, ask what you can do for your coin!” ~ Wayne Gretzky

Commercium would love to have more talented people on the team. We are looking for Developers proficient in Angular, NodeJS, MongoDB, HTML, SQL, C & C++, Windows and Ubuntu. The information for this listing can be found on the CMM website here. https://commercium.net/opportunities

We are also looking for a blockchain Dev to work alongside Anthony. He’s definitely a bright coder with lots of vision and ambition. If you’re new to blockchain coding or a seasoned vet, reach out to him today in Discord to discuss ways you can help take Commercium to the next level.

We could use some more jokers like Pinpins

We have a lot of wonderful things coming together and will be happy to bring you all along for the ride.

In the mind of a dev…

I wanted to share a few thoughts from the lead developer. I asked him about the exchanges we are listed on and to provide some info and insights he had while working on the Apostille master node implemetation:

I think that we have 2 working exchanges and that another is not needed

I would agree for a high volume exchange, but the exchanges that we are working with are demanding a high amount of liquidity. The disadvantage we have is, not being an ICO we do not have millions of dollars to feed the greed.

The way I think I see Commercium handling exchanges is quite simple. There are two uses for an exchange. One is trading/day trading etc and another is just a buying or selling when needed to conduct commerce….

…..For an update on master nodes.. Commercium was forked from Bitcoin Cash and it is quite custom. It’s not an exact fork. It also uses equihash which depends on the libsodium library. The compilation for bitcoin cash + master node + equihash/(libsodium) works great for linux, it does not like Windows or Mac OSX.

I’ve stripped governance and voting/proposals + superblocks from masternodes so that we do not have the ability to vote on proposals and have super blocks mined. If you don’t know that it is, its the ability to create coins every month or how ever many blocks to fund proposals for projects which masternode holders can vote on.

Anyways all that is out the window, we are going to just do master nodes where you run a full node, and are paid blockReward * 45 / 100 per block mined by master node.

~ Anthony, Lead Developer, Commercium

In closing:

If you are developer or coder, please consider joining the project. We as a team are looking to speed progress along as fast as possible. Our team is growing and we really are starting a great community. We would love to have you along for the ride.
