How to add CMM to your shop as a payment option

This guide will take you through the process of the Commercium WooCommerce plugin integration
In order to use this plugin, you need to have several things:
- WordPress website
Many thousands of people from around the world contribute to the project, and many millions of websites are powered by it — 30% of the web, in all. From large company websites to personal blogs, and everything in between, everyone can publish with WordPress.

WooCommerce is a free eCommerce plugin that allows you to sell anything. Built to integrate seamlessly with WordPress, WooCommerce is the world’s favorite eCommerce solution that gives both store owners and developers complete control.
It contains access to hundreds of free and premium WordPress extensions. You can download or review the plugin here - Commercium Electrum wallet
Electrum is a lightweight Commercium client, based on a client-server protocol.
Step 1 - Setup the Electrum wallet
Download the wallet for Windows here and click on the exe file. Normally a security warning will pop up (is it safe to use?). Click on Run anyway (Every app from the commercium developers are safe to use)
Standard wallet
Create a standard wallet as you know from the commercium full node.
Multisignature wallet
Create a wallet were more inputs are necessary to open the wallet/send funds.
Import private keys
If you have already a public address with funds on it, you can import your private key into the electrum wallet.
Create a new seed
The wallet will generate a new seed phrase for you
I already have a seed
You can input a former seed phrase and your wallet will be restored immediately
Use public and private keys
Public key will generate a view only wallet
Private key will generate a spending wallet
Use a hardware device
As Commercium is in the developing phase, we will add a hardware wallet in the future. This option isn´t used at the time of writing
The wallet will generate a new seed for you. Write the seed down or safe it into a password manager (don´t safe it in an unecrypted text file in clear text).
Do not disclose your seed to anyone, keep it safe at any given time!
If you lose your seed, you will lose your funds (if you didn´t export the private key)
With this seed, you have access to your wallet from any device you wish. Just download the electrum wallet and select the “I already have a seed” option.
Now that we are at the dashboard, we have to make some adjustments:
Goto View → Click Show console
The console tab will now appear, were we have to change the “gap limit” value to a bigger value, to make sure you will see the total balance in your wallet.
Navigate to Console tab and run this command: wallet.storage.put(‘gap_limit’,100)
You may use a different value instead of 100 if your online store receives lots of orders in CMM.
To activate the new gap limit, you´ll have to restart the electrum wallet. The wallet is now set up and we are ready for the next step.
Step 2 - Plugin Installation
Option 1
Login to your WordPress Admin Panel.
Click on Plugins → Add new.
Type into the search box: Commercium for woocommerce and simply click Install Now.
After the successful installation click Activate Plugin.
Option 2
Go directly to the WordPress plugin site and download the plugin.
Once downloaded login to your WordPress admin panel and click Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Choose File.
Select the downloaded file from the respective folder and click Install Now . After successful installation click Activate Plugin.
Step 3 - Activating the payment gateway
Initially the payment gateway will be not operational. In order to make it operational, you have to fetch the Master private key from the electrum wallet you have set up.
- Navigate in your electrum wallet to Wallet → Information.
2. Copy the Master Public Key
3. Click the Commercium tab on the admin panel of your WordPress site and paste the Master Public Key into the “ Commercium Electro Master Public Key (MPK)” Box Field
4. Click Save changes
Congratulations, the payment gateway is now operational and your store is now capable of receiving CMM as a payment option.
