The Commons is growing and we are announcing our newest addition to the team, Zach Thrun. Zach comes to our organization with a deep knowledge in design & programming and has already begun making significant contributions to our product development processes. Serving as our newest software engineer, Zach will be working to support both the FieldDoc and Water Reporter platforms while aiding our team in developing UI/UX patterns that greatly improve the usability of our software.

Prior to starting at the Commons, Zach worked as a game designer at Floreo Tech where he conceptualized, prototyped, developed, and deployed virtual reality therapy games made to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is the Founder of Aircamp Games and architect of titles such as Mystery on Telescope Hill, Adventure Beyond Time, and The Secret of Chimera Labs. Zach’s experience in programing, design, and cross-platform game engines such as Unity, is already positioning the Commons to expand the way users interact with our network’s data and technologies. Welcome to the team Zach, we are excited to create the code for change with you!
