In Seoul, there is the biggest closet in the world. Around 2500 suits are waiting for you. Those who are facing graduation, job interviews, etc. visit here. The reason why the closet is the biggest in the world is that it has around 2500 stories.

All suit was from citizen and companies as a donation. Those who wear clothes and take important interviews of their lives are getting supports from donors.

According to the CEO of Open Closet, she started the open closet with the desire to reduce the worries of young people who are looking for jobs as she entered into society earlier.

At the first time, she used to run the closet on weekends while working on weekdays but since lots of people have surged, she quitted her job and had been stuck with it.

In the beginning, there were only ten suits in one hanger, but now we have around 2000 suits because of the increase of donators. It’s about 8000 pieces in total, including shirts, shoes, ties, belts, and bags.

Sometimes they get shirts donated from apparel companies since it quickly gets dirty and worn away.

The profit of renting the suits and shirts given by the society are spent on supporting a neglected child or spent for food expense of university students, etc. All of the donations, renting and distribution of profit are a virtuous circle based on “sharing.”

Those, who rent have rented the suits from the closet and succeeded in getting a job, became donors later. They donate the suits, which they have bought with their valuable salary, for the people who need it. That’s why the Open Closet is the biggest and the warmest closet in the world.
