If you haven’t seen it yet, the Commons Stack website got a new look today.

As we’ve been speaking with our advisors, stakeholders and others in our community, we have identified the gaps between what we are actually doing and how well it is understood within our community, and even beyond.

Turns out, many had only a vague impression of what we are doing. This is partly because of the complex nature of innovating at the intersection between culture and token engineering, the multitude of initiatives we are involved with at the same time and the nested organizational structure of the ecosystem of which we are a part.

As a result, we decided to engage in a rebranding exercise to shape a more easily digestible narrative of our work, articulate the solutions we offer, and develop a brand and visual system that reflects our unique organization.

We took this opportunity of introspection and contemplation to begin telling our story through a new lens. To narrow our sights on how we can make the most impact going forward.

We began with articulating what we are best at:

“Our expertise lies in guiding you through the process of creating an organizational structure that facilitates active participation, cooperation, and accountability. You can build a community-driven ecosystem that fosters positive change and ensures your project’s long-term success.”

Additionally, we define our work by distilling it down to the four pillars that show our approach to funding, governance, and public goods management. The four pillars are:

We also rearticulated our purpose, encoded in our new mission statement.

“We provide blueprints and tools for impact communities to realize economic sustainability and shared resource governance.”

Our solutions are defined and easily accessible, inviting you to gain a better understanding of our work. Go have a look and learn more about the CommonsDAO and Commons Incubator, our technical toolkit, our cultural frameworks and the methodology of economics co-design.

We’re excited to invite you to our new website and encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter.

Extra special thanks to Augustin Galickas, and Suga and Guil from General Magic for their skill and expertise in bringing this to life. This would not have been possible without you.
