According to our client @IEOffices, a workspace should reflect the culture and brand of those who work within it. We couldn’t agree more, which is why we asked them to help with our own workplace facelift.

Ah Mondays. There is nothing that pairs better with the week’s first cup of coffee like the sound of power drills, hammers, and moving crews.

OK, so this isn’t the usual way we kick off the week at our Southfield Moncur office. Instead, it’s the sign of an exciting change. The Moncur braintrust recently decided to give our Southfield office a creative makeover with the goal to adjust and add pieces that more accurately reflect the creative nature of the Moncur brand, and the amazing people that work here!

While we make these exciting changes, it required some…creative seating arrangements. Like programmers in our meeting rooms and a rather complicated game of musical chairs as we switch up our desks — migrating technology, files and our own decorative knick knacks.

No conference calls today.
Arguably the biggest desk in the office this week.

This is not to say that the office was dull and boring before, but change is always good for creatives. It keeps us inspired and keeps our minds working in new ways. Included in this office transformation will be newly designed desk spaces, custom-curated art work from local Detroit artists, and new collaborative spaces for meetings and working.

We’re excited for what’s the come, but in the meantime, we are riding out the chaos to create something more amazing.

Remodeling madness.
Don’t mind the mess 😚
