Effective:

This packaging is particularly effective to me because of the use of color, consistent style of font and hierarchy of information. The thin bar at the center top intricately conveys the message that it’s french cookies. The way that the image is displayed increases the attractiveness of the communication as well.

Ineffective:

The way that the information is structured and displayed is not clear in this poster. The font does not convey the hierarchy of content. The graphic and the negative space draws people’s attention, but it does not really aid to the information that the poster is trying to communicate.
