On Friday April 17, 2017 the Carnegie Mellon Filmmaking Club presents the annual Shot For Shot Student Film Festival. This event will be held at Carnegie Mellon University from 7:30-10:30 pm in the McConomy Auditorium. The festival is a one-of-a-kind event in Pittsburgh, screening eleven local student films. The evening showcases the best, brightest, and most promising Pittsburgh-based student filmmakers.

The event features films done as part of an educational program, independently produced student film projects, and trailers from the work of recent Pittsburgh alumni. The evening concludes with three awards: the Grand Jury Award, the Audience Award, and a Special Jury Award.
