Typographic Voice

I picked the word Rebellion and picked 5 different typefaces that I thought best communicated the word. I thought of rebellion as “breaking the rules” and I used that mindset to pick 5 typefaces.

I thought this typeface worked well to communicate rebellion because theres very little whitespace between each of the letters

This typeface doesn’t finish the stroke on the e’s which is very unusual

This typeface has the letters very spread out from each other and it creates an aura of boldness and takes a lot of space.

This is typeface best communicates rebellion in my opinion. The letters look like graffiti and something that is written on walls.

This typeface is unusual in that it cuts the top and bottom of some of the letters.
