Title: Remembering Chopin
Artist: Vladimir Ashkenazy
Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazy is a pianist and conductor, originally from Russia, who has held Icelandic citizenship since 1972. A classical musician, Ashkenazy is critically acclaimed for his interpretation of Chopin’s piano work. He also has an extraordinary collaborative career, having recorded Beethoven’s complete violin sonatas with Itzhak Perlman, as well as the cello sonatas with Lynn Harrell, and the piano trios with Harrell and Pinchas Zukerman.

Title: Tremble
Artist: Liu Dehai
Liu Dehai is a Chinese Pipa player. Born in Shanghai on 13 August 1937, Liu learned from Pipa from Lin Shicheng. He has performed at many places in China and more than 30 other countries. Liu is not only known for his skills with Pipa but also his innovations of performance technique. He is also an influential figure in bringing this ancient Chinese instrument to the West, having trained many prominent young Pipa musicians including Lingling Yu, Wu Man, and Jie Ma.

Title: Back to Black
Artist: Amy Winehouse
Amy Jade Winehouse is an English singer and songwriter. Winehouse’s debut album, Frank (2003), was a critical success in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her follow-up album, Back to Black (2006), led to five 2008 Grammy Awards, making her the first British female to win five Grammys. Winehouse is critically acclaimed for her deep expressive contralto vocals and her mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues, and jazz.
