For the posters, I hoped to focus on silhouetting so as to make the information stand out and easy to determine at a glance. I used the following Star Wars posters as a source of inspiration, since I really like how the figures are easily recognizable yet only use a few colors.

My three events include a Shamisen concert, a Kabuki theatre show, and a showing of Spirited Away. They will all have a black background just to make the colored silhouettes a lot more striking, with white font. The silhouettes will be comprised of two colors with black highlights.

For the Shamisen concert, I was thinking of using yellow and a maroon/purplish color, which make up the tones of a shamisen (with the purple and maroon for the wood).

As for the Kabuki theatre, many masks they use have white masks with red and black markings. As such, the main two colors will be red and white, with black markings.

For the showing of Spirited Away, I was thinking of using pink and blue; pink because of the outfit the main character is wearing and blue because of the dragon she interacts with in the movie (as well as its strong messages in nature and rivers).
