Buggy Final Races

CMU Buggy is an annual race held during CMU Carnival. The race is a high-stakes, high speed, and high energy affair. Pushers push a person in a non-motorized vehicle, a buggy, up a hill along the race course. The drivers navigate the tight turns coming back down at speeds of up to 35 mph. Teams work hard during the year to train their drivers, pushers, and optimize their buggy to take first at these final races.

Florence + The Machine is an indie rock band starring lead singer Florence Welch and her backup band, The Machine. The band is known for their “dark, robust and romantic” sound, which has an air of Celtic and Baroque mystique.

Bo Burnham is a Youtuber turned stand up comedian/actor. He incorporates songs into his stand up performances, which are often tongue-in-cheek, satirical, and creative. As an artist, he tries to challenge society to turn a critical eye to pop culture and current societal issues.
