My event will be called “The Pittsburgh Spirit.”

  1. Pittsburgh Winery’s Tim Gaber

“Pittsburgh Winery uses a traditional, minimalist approach to winemaking that has been handed down for generations and has evolved with continuous education. One of the first things any good winemaker will learn is that in order to produce a good wine, you must start with good wine grapes. Pittsburgh Winery seeks out the very best fruit that money can buy and spends a lot of time sourcing it. Urban wineries are not tied to any particular vineyards and as a result have the option to bring in wine grapes from anywhere around the world.”

February 17th, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pittsburgh Winery, 2815 Penn Ave

Tickets can be purchased at www.thepittsburghspirit.com. They are $50 per person and include tasting.

2. Wigle Whiskey’s Alex Grelli

“American whiskey was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Throughout the 1700 and 1800s, Western Pennsylvania was the epicenter of American Whiskey production. Today, Wigle Whiskey is the only whiskey distillery in the region and was the first distillery in the City of Pittsburgh since Prohibition. Wigle Whiskey is working to restore a Pennsylvania tradition championed by the rebellious distillers we are named for. We make spirits much the same way Wigle and his friends did when Pittsburgh was the center of American Whiskey — with a copper pot and local ingredients.”

February 18th, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wigle Whiskey, 2401 Smallman St

Tickets can be purchased at www.thepittsburghspirit.com. They are $50 per person and include tasting.

3. East End Brewing Company’s Scott Smith

“East End Brewing Co. is Pittsburgh’s home for fresh local beer. The quality of the beer and the quality of the community it represents go hand-in-hand. In crafting a beer that is sourced through local providers and brewed in a local brewery, it attracts a local audience that appreciates a product created with both sustainability and quality in mind. East End serves up over 35 varieties of beer throughout the year while opening the brewery’s doors to the community for more than just a tour or a pint. East End Brewing Company brings people together.”

February 18th, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at East End Brewing Company, 147 Julius St

Tickets can be purchased at www.thepittsburghspirit.com. They are $50 per person and include tasting.
