Topic Brainstorming

- Chinese culture and Calligraphy shows
The reason I chose third choice is that I want to make something I am good at and not many people are doing.
Chinese Calligraphic illustrations are based on Ink, which uses ink and pure shapes and fewer photographic shapes.
Further, Calligraphic shapes are also a great demonstration of arrangment of typeface.
Composition
The first thing that came to my mind was series like. continuous shapes and similar composition and shapes.
Then as my topic decided, I started to use Chinese Calligraphy as the simliar shape that continues the similar shapes together.
Content Practice & Choices
Design Layout
The first series listed out all the basic elements that will be on the main posters
First series that is linked by the stamp at the corner. But I found not so linked by the shapes and the layout is disturbed by the third poster. That one lack of huge calligraphic title.
The second series optimized the second poster by emphasizing the main shape of the zither. But the third is still lack of connection from the previous two.
Third series adjusted by adding the huge title character at the top. and adjusted the shape of the zither.
Adjusted the color theme and make the poster fit more to the requirement.
Replaced the PS zither with another more organic drawing, revised the dates to make them different event poster.
