Typeface Tracing

This assignment allowed me to notice the impression of line weight. Garamond was very natural because the line weights of each letter followed that of the pressure exerted by my hand, while Didot has more impact because the contrast between each side of each letter is different. The even, unchanging lines of the sans-serif fonts makes the lack of serifs stand out more when compared to the serif fonts. The use of angles in the san-serif fonts stands out to be as well, particularly comparing that of the characters A and M.
