Seven deadly sins in Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland (dark fairy tale)

I have always been a fan of the story of alice in wonderland because of its creative plot and vivid characters. As many analysis notices, the tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as with children.It is considered to be one of the best examples of the literary nonsense genre. Thus, I want to take a different approach in portraying this children’s story. In my visual book, I will explore the dark side of the tale by text and my original illustration with (digital manipulation).

Below is my original drawing of Seven Deadly Sins in Alice in Wonderland:

I plan to spend two pages for each character/theme of sin. The first page out of the two will be my illustration. The second page will mainly be text with a symbol (either the heart flag or a clock). Below are some of my sketches:

The overall impression of my book should be classic, with decoration such as roses, flag and poker cards and simple color choice: black, white, gold and red, as the above photo shows.
