Aloyo Shiela

Aloyo Shiela was born on the 31/01/1995.She is an Acholi from northern Uganda, Gulu district.Born to Mr. Ocitti John and Mrs Achan Stella and Shiela is the first of four children in her family.

She joined school from 1997–1998 for her kindergarten at Unifat nursery school and joined Gulu public primary school in 1999–2006 where she completed her primary leaving examination.

From 2007–2010, she was at secret hearts Gulu for her ordinary level where she finished her Uganda certificate of education.

From 2014–2015, Graceland girl’s school for her advanced level of education where she merged the best which awarded her government scholarship to university.

2016 to date she is at Makerere university doing a bachelors Degree in journalism and communication under the college of humanities and social science, school of languages, literature and communication and department of journalism and communication.

while at Makerere university she managed to do a certificate courses at the college of health science where she was awarded a certificate to the art of thinking and public speaking. after getting some knowledge in photography and video editing she attended a training where still she was awarded with a certificate in photography and video editing.

she did her internship in 2019 with speke FM Gulu where she was given the work of reporting, news editing and presenting.

while at secondary school she became vice chairperson of kirombe youth livelihood project which was funded by the government. not only that for being a hard working girl she elected as dinning prefect in 2009 and also health prefect in 2014 while in sacred heart girls school and Graceland girls school respectively.

Shiela loves reading novels and plays, traveling and listening to music. her plans for the future is to become a successful woman who will not depend on a man for any help.she also wishes to have only two children in future.
