Is hard to seek to previous things that hapenned in this project, but I’m trying to remember with good precision. I’ll search in past conversations, files and commits’ timestamp.

I really can’t keep the development of Communicator without doing this blog post, because the things I need to annotate here are growing. Also I can’t do a project without posting updates about the actual stage.

In the previous post I said:

Talking with Alba, I discovered that she is CEO of Ibera and that the team lists ICOs and can invest in those projects, and also have a community which is supporting projects. I offered for she to be advisor of Communicator, and I saw a good interest in being part of our project.

But for me people say one thing and after say another thing.

Can I believe in someone?

In the 8th day I did the Telegram group’s stickers and BitcoinTalk’s avatars:

Also I did some updates in headings for what I call “landing design”:

From the 8th day (May 1) to the 12th (May 5) I talked with Tudor (founder of BountyHive) about listing Communicator in its system. He rejected the tokens.

Today I propposed 25% of bounty pool + 2500$ / month.

I tried to talk with CoinLaunch’s admins but I was ignored.

I know they are busy, but they have a working platform for ICOs so the support should be better since ICO managers are also busy and have schedules.

In the 9th day (2 May) I throught with all my forces to abbandon Communicator. Our bounty manager said that can only post in 6 May, the same day where audiopolis had postponned the bot tests. I throught: “Liars, they postponned to the same day, its a coincidence, they really don’t want to help Communicator or the people I know are doing orders for it”.

On May 3 I talked with some bot developers about what they charge in USD/ETH/BTC:

Also talked with signature designers, but some rejected and others ignored.

In 11th day (4 May) the ETHLend’s angel investor Francesca sent this message:

Daniell,

Did you think about telegram and the community manager services? Me and some friends created a community managers company.

I let you read our cover letter ..

Dear Sirs,

I represent the Londok CCM, we are a group of four professionals specialised in curating the communication of ICOs. Namely, we maintain contact with the ICO community through different means, such as Telegram, Medium and Reddit. Beside that, we cover also the technical aspects, such as configuring Bots ad hoc for the chat and gathering feedbacks/data from the users.
So far we have collaborated with ETHLend and TEU, with which we still maintain a relation.

We would like to offer you our service, if interested we would gladly discuss with you our terms.

Among our references we have Luca Cotta from ICOBench with whom we cooperated successfully within the ETHLend community.

I replied and we talked more:

Now I called again for updates.

In this same day, Tanjin Alam joined the team (recommended by Riyadul Islam) as Community Manager and Promotion Advisor. He seemed to be a very creative and usefull member, so I promoted he to COO.

In 12th day (May 5) I bough a domain for Communicator (following the suggestion of Tanjin) but I had a negative think since I had less than 5 USD in the wallet. I found a very cheap domain on Namecheap: communicator.space, so I bought it. In a few hours I pointed to GitHub, fixed DNS and setup HTTPS using CloudFlare.

You can access it at: https://communicator.space/

On May 6 I created our Facebook page:

Can’t upload profile picture because my Internet is slow.

I talked with a app developer but he changed his mind like Alba did.

I sent to him (like I did to other users) this message on AngelList:

Greetings,
I’m creating the Communicator project, for a Ethereum blockchain-based instant messenger.
His motto is: “Decentralized, lovely and funny messenger in Ethereum blockchain”.
Site: https://communicatormessenger.github.io/
I’m about starting his pre-ICO, but I have some things to get done.
Payment for the team: in tokens (Communicator tokens — COMM) and in FIAT/Bitcoin/Ethereum after raising funds from the pre-ICO.
Would you be open to hear more about this kind of project?

Kindly regards,
Daniell Mesquita — Communicator’s CEO

After it (where I said “Payment for the team: in tokens”) he replied saying that is interested. Then: “You never said anything about paying in token. Not interested”.

I thought about DAY contract mint 1 token every 5 days, and to generate new tokens according to the COMM tokens sent to the contract.

Iceman (the smart contract developer) is also getting “stressed” about Communicator:

If in a simple conversation he says “I’m confused”, then what he say when programming a whole smart contract?

Tanjin said to me about token allocation, and I replied that till somedays I already begin creating a chart for this:

In 14th day (May 7) I discovered Manybot on Telegram (thanks to the bot developer Sebastian) and began developing the helper bot (Programmator) and even the airdrop bot. In the “forms” feature, I saw a great potential for run the airdrop. The workaround I found for antifake is a confirmation post on BitcoinTalk needed to be sent to the bot. All responses to the airdrop forms are notified by the bot, but we will need a program to receive and parse all those data. Programmator also does autoposting in Communicator’s channel directly from Twitter.

I throught about every asset (crypto collectible) in POWER contract have its own price in COMM tokens, and like in DAY token it be a variable to be changed according to COMM value. Also I throught that DAY token will be better as a ERC-223 token (since it is more secure, reliable, energy/GAS saving and is the direct successor to ERC-20). Since no signature designers accepted the tokens, I created my own signatures:

I spent about 3 hours writting this post. I could write in just some minutes if I posted it before. I’ll since now draft posts while I develop Communicator, instead of remembering those things. While I do the other things, I’m writing the “15th to 16th day of Communicator” post logging all the events.
