Communitech Welcomes Six Companies to our Rev Sales Accelerator
We’re excited to announce that we’ve accepted six companies into our 12th cohort of the Communitech Rev Accelerator. This sales-focused accelerator provides high-potential startups guidance in optimizing sales and marketing to accelerate revenue.
The six companies accepted are:
Grobo — Kitchener, Ontario
Squiggle Park — Toronto, Ontario
Schema App — Guelph, Ontario
Parity Go — Toronto, Ontario
Local Line Inc. — Kitchener, Ontario
Stathletes Inc. — St Catherines, Ontario
Rev is based at the Communitech Hub, but we don’t require companies to relocate. In-person and virtual coaching sessions keep companies focused and accountable, allowing them to keep up with their businesses wherever they’re located.
In collaboration with growth coaches, the companies will spend the next six months learning to optimize sales and marketing processes, build the operational processes required to establish a predictable revenue stream, and how to develop the strategic foundations that will allow companies to reach $25M annual recurring revenue.
Companies also receive help with training its sales leaders on how to build and lead a sales team, establish cultural and leadership practices to scale, and prepare them to raise Series A within 12 months after graduating the program.
Three of the six startups in this new cohort are female-founded, two of which took part in the Fierce Founders Accelerator building on business fundamentals, including Schema App and Squiggle Park.
“We have been very deliberate in building programs to assist companies through startup and growth stages,” said Kelly McGregor, Rev Program Manager. “The companies participating in the new cohort are a great example of how the Waterloo Region tech ecosystem supports companies through startup, growth, and ongoing success.”
