Erica, How did you prove the ROI of Community at Salesforce?
At Salesforce, from the CEO Marc Benioff to an individual contributor at the beginning of the year has to do a V2MOM. Set your vision right at the very beginning, it is ingrained & indoctrinated as a part of the way things are run.
V2MOM stands for Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles & Metrics.
Erica adopted the V2MOM strategy for projects & everything she’s doing. Everyone jumps the first two & directly jumps to execute, as they don’t lock themselves on the Vision everything is doomed.
So created a presentation for the CMO to buy off on it with:
“Ways I was going to execute?”,
“Things I thought needed to overcome.”
&
“Metric to show success.”
